Recently, the People’s Government of Youyu County of Shanxi Province conferred the “Award for Contributions to High-quality Development of Youyu County” on Longyuan Power (the Company for short), marking the Company has won this award for 4 consecutive years.

Since 2012, in response to the arrangement and deployment of the CPC Central Committee and the Group, Longyuan Power, as the designated assistance and support group leader, has actively helped Youyu County shake off poverty. Meanwhile, the Company resolutely implemented the decision and deployment of the CPC Central Committee on poverty alleviation, practiced a key state-owned enterprise’s social responsibilities with practical actions, and assisted in winning the battle for shaking off poverty. In August 2018, Youyu County became one of the first state-designated poverty-stricken counties in Shanxi Province that shook off poverty. Since 2019, Longyuan Power has further advanced its political standing, and earnestly implemented the spirit of the CPC Central Committee’s important instructions (e.g., Four Continue) on poverty alleviation work. Following the uniform arrangement and deployment of the Party Leading Group of the Group Corporation and focusing on industry, medical service, skill, infrastructure, and party building, etc., the Company made innovations in mechanism, precisely formulated policies, and kept on furthering the depth and width of assistance and support. As a result, the Company made remarkable achievements in the assistance and support work, which received high recognition and praise from local cadres and masses. The Company’s excellent assistance and support practices have been collected into Advanced and Representative Cases on Poverty Alleviation of Shanxi Province.

This year marks the beginning of the 14th Five-year Plan. In addition to keeping on advancing its political standing, Longyuan Power will observe the Development Planning of Youyu County during the 14th Five-year Plan Period to integrate the Company’s capital and technical strengths in the new energy industry with Youyu County’s ecological industry and PV resources, effectively link the Company’s breakthroughs and achievements with rural revitalization, assist the county in promoting rural revitalization in all aspects after eradication of the poverty.
