On May 25, Shanxi Province Summary and Commendation Conference for Poverty Alleviation took place ceremoniously in Taiyuan, capital of Shanxi Province. Longyuan Power (the Company for short) was honored “Advanced Collective” and conferred upon the “Summary Award for Poverty Alleviation of Shanxi Province”, and it also received the prize on the stage in the name of excellent award-winning representative.  
In strict accordance with the deployment of the CPC Central Committee on poverty alleviation, Longyuan Power successively appointed 4 poverty alleviation cadres to reside in Youyu County of Shanxi Province, and made a total investment of more than CNY 53 million in poverty alleviation.  Since remarkable achievements were made in its poverty alleviation projects including ecology, medical service, industry, education, employment, and PV, etc., Longyuan Power received high recognition and praise from local governmental cadres and masses. In August 2018, Youyu County was successfully lifted out of poverty. Despite this, Longyuan Power further carried out the requirements of “Four Continue” to continue enlarging its support to poverty-stricken areas. By virtue of its abundant poverty alleviation experience, the Company shored up its poverty alleviation achievements and assisted in the rural revitalization. By promoting the industrial upgrading, the Company stimulated the endogenous development power and vitality of people that have shaken off poverty. Presently, the Youyu County Chinese Herbs Processing Workshop and Mayinghe Village Vegetable Greenhouse Project, which are under the support of Longyuan Power, are being built at an accelerated pace, and the two projects, with a total investment of CNY 6 million, will be completed by the end of July according to the plan. After being completed, the two projects will further support development of other relevant industries including Chinese herbs, off-season fruits & vegetables, and sightseeing and picking tourism, etc., and in turn drive low-income people to make more money.
