On September 17, with the end of welding and grouting operations, the installation work of the sea booster station of Longyuan Power Jiangsu Sheyang offshore wind farm was all completed. This is the fourth sea booster station invested and constructed by Longyuan Power, featuring the largest weight of China Energy Investment Group and the farthest offshore distance in China.

The 220kV sea booster station is completely designed, manufactured and installed independently in China. The lower foundation is the pile foundation jacket type, and the upper body consists of three layers. It is approximately 50m long, 45m wide and 23m high, with a total weight of about 4,000 tons and a planned capacity of 400,000 kilowatts. During the design period, Longyuan Power and the designer had constantly optimized the engineering quantity through multiple rounds of equipment selection and structural layout adjustments, making the sea booster station the lightest among all sea booster stations with the same capacity, the same function, and similar equipment layout. The station was shipped in late August. After sailing about 200 nautical miles from south to north, it arrived at the installation site in early September. Through about 10 hours of careful construction, the main body of the sea booster station and the lower foundation were finally closed on September 9. The booster station is a really offshore giant, the total lifting weight of the main body and foundation of which is about 6,000 tons in total. It will serve ninety 4.5 MW offshore wind turbines, which will be connected to the grid for power generation by the end of the year.
