On June 30, Longyuan Power Xinjiang Dabancheng #3 Wind Farm Phase VI 49.5 MW wind power project’s wind turbines were successfully grid-connected for power generation.
This is one of the first batch of national wind power grid parity demonstration projects approved by the National Energy Administration. It is also the first grid parity demonstration project of Xinjiang Autonomous Region, Longyuan Power and Group Company. With the total installed capacity of 49.5 MW, the electric power is transmitted to 220 kV Longjie Chaiwopu Xifeng West Wind Power Collection Station through two circuits of 35 kV overhead lines constructed in this phase.
The project is located in Dabancheng wind area, which is one of the nine major wind areas in Xinjiang, and one of the regions with the best wind resources there. While strictly carrying out the epidemic prevention and control, Longyuan Power insists on giving priority to technology and quality, strengthens process control, continuously optimizes the construction scheme based on the actual on-site conditions, actively analyzes and solves difficulties and unfavorable factors in project promotion, and makes construction preparation in a planned and phased manner. It has comprehensively analyzed and formulated reasonable hoisting operation schemes, strictly implemented the company's safety management regulations, and insisted on “Ten-Must and Two-Strict”. Through scientific and strict organization, efficient and strict management and control, and close connection working mode, the hoisting of wind turbines, electric fitting, and power transmission commissioning, etc., were completed with high efficiency and high quality. In the end, all wind turbines of the first grid parity demonstration project in Xinjiang were successfully hoisted and grid-connected for full-capacity power generation.
