Longyuan Power Group Corporation Limited convenes the 2018 interim results board meeting in Hong Kong on 21, Aug. Qiao Baoping, Party Secretary and Chairman of CHN Energy Group and Chairman of Longyuan Power, attends the meeting and delivers an important speech. Chen Bin, Chief Accountant and Member of the Party Group of CHN Energy and Chairman of the Supervisory Committee at Longyuan Power, attends the meeting as a guest. Huang Qun, Executive Director and Deputy General Manager of Longyuan Power, introduces the company's operating results in the first half of 2018. The meeting is also attended by others including Head of the Discipline Inspection Group, General Manager Assistant, Chief Auditor, responsible person of relevant departments, as well as directors, supervisors, secretary of the board of directors and chief accountant of Longyuan Power. The meeting is presided over by Qiao Baoping.
At the meeting, Qiao Baoping pointed out that in the first half of 2018, Longyuan Power's achievements benefited from the correct leadership of the company's board of directors, the standard and efficient operation of the board of directors, and the implementation of all the proposals of the board of directors. In view of the next step of work, Qiao Baoping puts forward four requirements: first, to resolutely uphold the leadership of the CPC, and to strengthen the Party's political construction and be armed with thoughts and theories. Studying and acting on the principles set forth at the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China is and will remain the prime political task of us. Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, we will strengthen political construction and continue to create a boom in learning the guidelines. We must improve the work mechanism of party building, deepen the party construction work and restrict corruption, and continue to reinforce work style construction. We must deepen the strict administration of enterprises by Party building, strengthen the consciousness of rule of law and rule of established practice, advance the construction of capacity of rule of law, and promote the implementation of supervision and guarantee. Secondly, we must insist on improving quality and efficiency in an all-round way and continuously improve the management level of existing assets. We must lay a solid foundation for safety production, effectively raise the safety awareness of personnel at all levels, strictly implement the responsibility system for safety production at all levels, continue to innovate safety management systems and mechanisms, and ensure that safety production is in and under control. We must optimize the economic operation control system, comprehensively reinforce power supply saving, fully promote market-oriented marketing, adopt various measures to deal with power rationing, and actively strive for the collection of subsidy debt. We must strengthen asset management, reinforce capital cost control, strengthen risk prevention and control, deepen centralized financial management and control, and continuously improve the level of economic operation of stock assets. Thirdly, we must adhere to the concept of high-quality development and focus on improving the enterprise core competence. We must follow our strategies, steadily develop high-quality resources, strengthen the development of high-quality reserve resources, actively carry out the work of the offshore projects in the early stage, firmly promote overseas projects, strengthen the risk control on overseas investment, and vigorously expand the markets in "Belt and Road" and the emerging markets in the American region. Efforts should be made to create quality projects, optimize construction organization and management, strengthen safety and quality control, and strengthen environmental risk control of projects. Fourthly, we must adhere to the innovation-driven strategy and accelerate the development of a world-class enterprise. We must innovate the management system and mechanism, speed up the pace of establishing a "world-class enterprise", pay close attention to the implementation of innovative measures, deepen the innovation-driven strategy, strengthen the standardization construction of teams and groups, and comprehensively improve the management level of the enterprise. We must strengthen the building of a first-class personnel team, innovate the mechanism for selecting and employing talents, and take great pains to cultivate "Longyuan-based Craftsmen", so as to lay a new and solid foundation for achieving the goal of "100-year Reputation of Longyuan". After the end of the meeting of Board of Directors, Longyuan Power convenes the Board of Supervisors meeting on 2018 interim results chaired by Chen Bin. The Board of Supervisors deliberated and passed the "Proposals on 2018 Interim Results Announcement and Interim Report".
